About Me
I am a scientist with a research focus on the digitalisation of science. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Department "Research Data" at FIZ Karlsruhe, where we do research and development in the field of research data infrastructure, involving a lot of software development and also service operation (e.g. for our research data repository RADAR). I am one of the Co-Spokespersons of NFDI4Chem - the chemistry consortium in the NFDI, the German research data infrastructure, in which I am also active in many other consortia, e.g. NFDI4Culture, NFDI4Memory and NFDI4Objects. Additionally, I am the scientific coordinator of the Leibniz WissenschaftsCampus DiTraRe (Digital Transformation of Research). I'm also an artist and musician, but that's another story and I will focus on the research part here.
